As 2025 comes to a close, we’re celebrating a year filled with global projects, exciting product launches and industry connections.

Top Case Studies That Inspired Us
We partnered with trampoline park, indoor playground and FEC operators to create interactive indoor play venues that get kids moving, socialising, and challenging themselves. Here’s just three of our favourite projects we shared this year:
AirHop Wrexham Trampoline Park
Wales’ first AirHop Adventure & Trampoline Park, AirHop Wrexham, has really taken the adventure park concept to another level, with seven Rugged Interactive attraction zones, offering high-energy active play for all ages. With prime shopping mall location, this venue benefits from high footfall and convenience for customers. Read more about the benefits of destination leisure here.
Monkey Town
The popular European indoor playground brand opened its first multi-interactive venue in 2024, Monkey Town Amsterdam Noord, which offers seven interactive attractions to entertain ages 12 and under, with an open plan layout, eye-catching brand design and great facilities for all the family.
Sobell Leisure Centre Active Multi-Zone
Sobell Leisure Centre was the second Better Leisure Centre to taken on the active play model, with a state-of-the-art active multi-zone installation that blends a trampoline park, inflatable course and interactive games to entertain visitors aged 2+.
Safari Play
Safari Play soft play venues in Peterborough and Milton Keynes have been upgraded with five Rugged Interactive products, expanding their active play offering for customers aged 3-12 years old. These upgrades have allowed them to increase their ticket prices by 33%, returning their investment and providing an improved experience for visitors.

Rugged Lighting
Our dynamic LED lighting solution is specifically designed for indoor play spaces to transform soft play structures, sports courts and tag arenas.
Either as an add-on upgrade, or integrated with Rugged Interactive products, Rugged Lighting enhances play, creates a premium feel, and transforms indoor play venues through light.
SCORZE
Officially launched at IAAPA Expo Europe, SCORZE brings the live football experience indoors with an immersive, competitive soccer arena. From downloaded goal replays and personalised gameplay to sound effects and lighting, SCORZE redefines indoor football for trampoline parks and FECs.
Industry Events & Expos
2025 was packed with opportunities to connect with the industry and showcase our innovations at major events. Our highlights from this year:
- We had a launch party and ribbon cutting for SCORZE at IAAPA Europe, celebrating our innovation with close connections
- ‘Rugged Robin’ presented a panel talk on ‘Reimagining Indoor Play and FECs’ at IAAPA Europe, sharing his insights with the industry
- We launched Rugged Lighting at IAAPA Florida, which really enhanced our booth and showcased the power of light
Product Handover Sessions
Our products might be easy to install and play, but getting the most out of the attraction starts with staff engagement. That’s why, for large scale projects and unique installations, we can offer a staff training and handover day to walk through:
- How to play each interactive attraction
- Safety and cleaning guidance
- Best practice, both for daily use and events
- How to make the most of Rugged attractions for marketing and customer experience
These handover sessions have been well received, offering indoor play venues the chance to really engage with our interactive products, boost their party offering, and increase customer satisfaction.

We really appreciate the seasonal themed updates to the Rugged Interactive Freedom Gaming for the Halloween and Christmas periods. It's might only be sound effects and visual changes, but it helps keep the attractions feeling new.
Safari Play is part of a very specific market for 2-10 year olds that relies on constant improvements, to show parents we are continuously investing in the venue. The new interactive attractions have allowed us to keep on growing year on year above inflation, as we’re able to charge more because we offer more.
As owners, we feel the new installations complement the existing attractions really well, and we can now offer more choice of play activity for our guests. Consequently, the park is busier but without feeling crowded, more exciting and showcases the latest technology for indoor play.
