About AirHop Wrexham

This is the first UK AirHop Trampoline Park built and branded from the ground up. With intentional design, vibrant colours, and hand-picked attractions, this trampoline park offers an immersive, premium experience, with FUN packed into every area.

AirHop Wrexham is part of the Activeon group, which manages 72 parks across the UK and Europe, including 27 in the UK, of which over 14 have Rugged Interactive products! AirHop offers premium, interactive indoor play for toddlers, kids and adults.

The building for AirHop Wrexham was an old Debenhams, and the building had been empty for 5 years. It’s great to see an exciting use for the space, and another active play venue reaping the benefits of destination leisure: bringing indoor fun to retail spaces. Read more in our blog here.

Freedom Gaming at AirHop Wrexham: The Ultimate Gamified Attraction

Our interactive tag arena, Freedom Gaming, is our most popular adventure park solution: it’s loved by toddlers to teens, can be installed into almost any play space, it’s immersive and competitive, and easy to run! Take an in-depth look into Freedom Gaming here.

The tag arena at AirHop Wrexham, designed by our partner installers, Sidijk, has a unique layout with seven obstacle areas, installed with our Freedom Gaming lightpods. The two obstacle tracks, power tower, ball pit, climbing wall, tube slide course, and ladder climb areas add physical challenges to finding and hitting out the lightpods, diversifying play.

Four Starting Pens

Streamlines large groups and queuing whilst adding excitement for the game to start!

Live Score Screens

Both inside and outside the arena – boosts motivation and competition, draws in new players

Three Games to Choose From

Freedom Gaming offers three games – a quick-start game, a group/party game, and a simplified non-competitive game

AirHop, Sidijk and Rugged Collaboration

AirHop took their vision for this trampoline park to our partner indoor play installers, Sidijk, and we collaborated with them to bring this to life, with the help of our gamified, interactive products.

Sidijk have built a premium, well-thought-out park, with details of AirHop’s new branding, exciting lights, and user-friendly layout. Parents can have full visibility of their kids in the park, and can enjoy a great coffee in the café too.

We asked Jelmer Brouwer, International Sales Manager Leisure at Sidijk, about this project, and he said…

“This was our first project with AirHop, after the brand acquired Go Jump In trampoline parks. AirHop experienced our high-quality installations at these trampoline parks and trusted us with this exciting project at Wrexham.

It was great to work on the project from build level and overcome challenges with them – for example, we needed to find a way to utilise the central elevator space, so we installed a 3-lane obstacle course!”
